Quality Test Engineer (Hardware)

What you will do
- Design and oversee test plans, procedures, and environments for hardware and finished products.
- Perform various testing types, including functional, performance, regression, and integration testing.
- Lead and manage a team of test technicians and junior engineers, providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, industry regulations, and Testing Lab certifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize testing strategies.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies for product certification requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in testing/QA, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), specifically IDEC.
- Experience designing and building testing fixtures.
- Proficiency in English for reading complex drawings, writing reports, and delivering presentations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.
Nice to have
- LEAN/6 Sigma Green Belt certification.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or similar methodologies.
