TL;DR

What you will do

  • Design and oversee test plans, procedures, and environments for hardware and finished products.
  • Perform various testing types, including functional, performance, regression, and integration testing.
  • Lead and manage a team of test technicians and junior engineers, providing coaching and performance feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards, industry regulations, and Testing Lab certifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize testing strategies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies for product certification requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in testing/QA, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in programmable logic controllers (PLCs), specifically IDEC.
  • Experience designing and building testing fixtures.
  • Proficiency in English for reading complex drawings, writing reports, and delivering presentations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical writing skills.

Nice to have

  • LEAN/6 Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or similar methodologies.
