QA Engineer (Cucumber/Playwright)

Location: Full remote for selected digital roles or hybrid (HQ in Aix-en-Provence, France with 3 mandatory on-site days per week plus 4 fully remote weeks per year)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cucumber and Playwright (TypeScript), integrating into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) for fast release validation.
• Collaborate with QA testers to identify and prioritize critical scenarios for automation, building a validated catalog.
• Build functional expertise in key workflows like user journeys, promotion management, and order flows.
• Participate in cross-functional discussions with product and engineering teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Document tests in XRay (Jira-integrated) and provide reports on coverage and execution results.

Requirements

• At least 5 years in test automation; strong proficiency with Cucumber/Playwright (TypeScript).
• Proficiency with XRay for test management in Jira.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).
• ISTQB certification (Foundation or higher) strongly preferred.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills; ability to work independently.

• Experience supporting testers in automation tools and methodologies.
