What you will do

  • Lead the enhancement and adoption of compliance frameworks, standards, and procedures across the business.
  • Serve as the primary First Line of Defense (1LOD) Compliance and Risk Liaison for Sales, Product, and Data Acquisition teams.
  • Design and manage a comprehensive, risk-based compliance monitoring and reporting program.
  • Develop and oversee remediation plans for identified compliance gaps or issues to ensure sustainable risk mitigation.
  • Provide strategic guidance to senior executives on new product launches and complex projects.
  • Act as a compliance resource during high-level client and partner discussions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or audit functions within highly regulated environments.
  • Expertise in regulatory frameworks, specifically FCRA, GLBA, and UDAAP.
  • Bachelor's degree is required; professional certifications such as CRCM or CIPP are preferred.
  • Proven experience influencing senior leaders and presenting to executive leadership and regulators.
  • Proficiency in designing and enhancing enterprise-level internal control frameworks.
  • Location: Must be based in Heredia, Costa Rica.
