What you will do

• Own the Windows platform strategy for scanner solutions, defining OS standards, modernization, and lifecycle improvements.
• Lead and mentor the client platform team on technical decisions regarding OS, drivers, firmware, and hardware compatibility.
• Create and deploy custom Windows images tailored for various OEM hardware platforms (e.g., Dell, HP).
• Act as the technical authority and subject matter expert for complex Windows OS platform issues and escalations.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to align deployment practices and review major hardware/software changes.
• Maintain documentation and version control to ensure stable, secure, and compliant image releases.

Requirements

• Expert-level experience (minimum 5 years) with DISM, WinPE, and Sysprep.
• Proficiency with SCCM/MECM task sequences, MDT, and Intune/Autopilot.
• Advanced skills in PowerShell automation and Windows servicing (updates, feature upgrades).
• Strong understanding of driver catalogues, BIOS/firmware alignment, and hardware lifecycles.
• Familiarity with security hardening, compliance frameworks, and Windows baselines.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Copenhagen office.

Nice to have

• Background in regulated industries such as medical devices or automotive.
• Microsoft certifications (MD-101, MD-102, MD-500 series or similar).
