What you will do

• Own the future direction of the frontend architecture to deliver a performant and scalable TypeScript codebase.
• Drive critical architectural decisions regarding component design, state management, and build tooling.
• Utilize deep knowledge of browser internals, such as event loops and Web Workers, to ship responsive document processing UIs.
• Collaborate with product and backend engineers to define clean API contracts for AI-powered services.
• Lead and align frontend engineers through architecture reviews, pairing sessions, and technical documentation.
• Manage cross-cutting concerns including shared libraries, design system consistency, and CI/CD improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in development with a strong focus on frontend systems.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern frontend architecture.
• Strong understanding of browser internals, including event loops and Web Workers.
• Proven ability to guide teams in architectural decisions and drive implementation to production.
• Location: Must be based in Zurich, Switzerland (Onsite)
