What you will do

• Design and build robust gameplay systems from scratch using C# and Unity.
• Optimize features to ensure simulation performance at a massive scale.
• Collaborate with designers and artists to transform abstract concepts into playable mechanics.
• Contribute to the development of upcoming Paradox management titles.
• Take active part in technical decision-making and shape the game's development.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C# and the Unity ecosystem.
• Up-to-date knowledge of modern game development technologies.
• Ability to independently take a feature from concept to completion.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical constraints to non-technical team members.
• Must be able to work onsite at the Tampere office.

Nice to have

• Professional experience shipping games on PC or Console.
• Experience with Unity's Data-Oriented Technology Stack (DOTS), including ECS, Jobs, and Burst.
• Proficiency in other programming languages or game modding.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
