What you will do

• Drive the technical and artistic vision for AA/AAA titles, ensuring a consistent visual style.
• Lead and mentor an art team of 8-12 members, including environment, props, and level artists.
• Manage the art production pipeline, including estimates, scheduling, reviews, and on-time delivery.
• Collaborate with Art Directors, technical teams, and clients to align priorities and milestones.
• Oversee onboarding for new artists and maintain structured project documentation.
• Track industry trends and visual benchmarks to continuously improve tools and processes.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in game art leadership or art direction roles.
• Proven experience managing art teams of 10+ people.
• Proficiency with 3ds Max, ZBrush, Photoshop, and Substance Painter.
• Solid understanding of Unreal Engine and experience working on PC game projects.
• English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher for daily client communication.
• Location: Must be based in Ukraine.

Nice to have

• Background in level art and/or lighting.
• Familiarity with Unity or other game engines.
