What you will do

• Lead complex investigations into cheat providers, exploit abuse, and organized player misconduct.
• Analyze in-game telemetry and behavioral data to identify patterns and opportunities for enforcement.
• Monitor and profile cheat communities, marketplaces, and distribution channels.
• Translate intelligence into actionable outputs, including detection opportunities and product recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to operationalize insights into systems and models.
• Mentor other analysts to raise the overall quality and rigor of investigations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in game security, anti-cheat, fraud/abuse, or adversarial systems.
• Proven experience investigating and disrupting complex adversarial behaviors or ecosystems.
• Ability to work with large-scale telemetry and behavioral datasets.
• Strong ability to translate analytical findings into concrete outcomes like detections or design changes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Sherman Oaks, CA or Vancouver, BC for a 4-day onsite schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience with reverse engineering, memory analysis, debugging, or exploit development.
• Familiarity with cheat development techniques or game client manipulation.
• Proficiency in SQL for analyzing large datasets.
• Programming or scripting experience in Python for automation and tooling.
• Background in building detection systems, heuristics, or anti-cheat mechanisms.
