What you will do

• Own content for complex technical areas and establish quality standards for the wider documentation organization.
• Implement AI-augmented documentation practices and push standards for the thoughtful adoption of AI tools.
• Design and drive the architecture of multi-layered technical content to ensure scalability and prevent user friction.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Marketing, and Support to surface documentation needs early in the product lifecycle.
• Mentor peers through high-stakes documentation challenges and perform deep technical reviews of content.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a SaaS or developer-focused environment as a technical writer, solutions engineer, or technical consultant.
• Must be based in the United States in one of the listed eligible states.
• Practical fluency with AI tools for research and writing, combined with strong editorial judgment.
• Technical ability to read Java and JSON and quickly grasp AI/ML and search concepts.
• Proficiency with Git, Markdown, and Docs-as-Code workflows to improve pipelines and automation.
• Strong skills in information architecture and a track record of collaborative leadership in distributed teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.globalsearch or similar data and search technologies.
• Experience contributing to open source projects.
• Comfort working on the command line and writing basic scripts to automate tasks.
