Network (Infrastructure) Engineer

TL;DR

Network (Infrastructure) Engineer (Infrastructure/DevOps): Supporting digital and physical network systems with an accent on physical hardware deployment and automation workflows. What you will do

• Deploy, configure, and test physical network devices including switches, routers, and wireless equipment.
• Design and maintain over 100 operational automations using Rewst.io and BlinkOps, including Slackbots and alerting systems.
• Install and maintain physical security systems, access control hardware, and CCTV cameras.
• Perform low-voltage wiring, structured cabling, and cable management for office buildouts and expansions.
• Provide Tier 2-3 support for networking, connectivity, and system issues (VPN, Wi-Fi, access control).
• Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration inventories, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in network engineering, IT infrastructure, or a hybrid DevOps/Help Desk role.
• Hands-on experience with physical networking hardware deployment and low-voltage installation.
• Deep knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and VPN.
• Scripting proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and tooling.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) or virtualized network environments.
• Solid written and verbal English skills.

Nice to have

• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or Network+.
• Exposure to ITIL structured operational environments.
