TL;DR

Focus on managing cross-functional teams, coordinating software/hardware updates, and ensuring compliance with OEM requirements.

Location: Must be based in or be able to work on-site in Bucharest, Romania

What you will do

  • Drive end-to-end maintenance for automotive infotainment programs in series production.
  • Act as the primary customer interface for all maintenance-related issues and changes.
  • Coordinate software updates, hardware changes, and product improvements across cross-functional teams.
  • Manage and prioritize change requests (ECRs/ECOs) in alignment with stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely resolution of field issues and perform root cause tracking.
  • Provide transparent status reporting on KPIs and maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • University degree in Engineering (Electrical, IT, Mechanical, Industrial) or a comparable qualification.
  • 4+ years of experience in program management within automotive or technology environments.
  • Fluent in Romanian and English (written and spoken).
  • Willingness to work on-site in Bucharest, Romania and travel up to 25%.
  • Good understanding of automotive development and industrialization processes.
  • Experience in customer communication and presentation.

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of PMI methodologies, Automotive SPICE, or IATF 16949.
  • Initial experience with VW Group programs or customers.
  • Familiarity with program management tools and reporting systems.
