Enterprise Architect (IT Strategy)

TL;DR

Enterprise Architect (IT Strategy): Designing and maintaining the internal technology landscape for a scaling organization with an accent on infrastructure, application integration, and regulatory compliance. Focus on bridging technical foundations with organizational implications and translating security frameworks into architectural requirements.

Location: Hybrid (Copenhagen/Aarhus), Denmark. Regular presence in Aarhus is required. Must have lived in a NATO and/or EU country for the past seven years.

What you will do

• Maintain a decision-relevant view of internal applications, infrastructure, integrations, and data flows.
• Develop a technology roadmap grounded in current state and execution capabilities.
• Translate regulatory requirements (NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR) into concrete architectural requirements.
• Guide the introduction of AI components and agentic systems within governance structures.
• Lead architecture reviews to translate stakeholder needs into cross-organizational decisions.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience with enterprise-scale technology landscapes across multiple domains.
• Technical depth in infrastructure, cloud architecture, application integration, and data flows.
• Experience translating regulatory frameworks (NIS2, ISO 27001, GDPR) into technical requirements.
• Working knowledge of TOGAF, NIST, or similar frameworks.
• Excellent English language skills; Danish is advantageous. Must provide a clean criminal record.
