What you will do

• Design, develop, and test embedded software in C++ for firmware and application layers.
• Utilize Python for scripting, tooling, and automation support.
• Collaborate in Agile teams using GitHub, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Contribute to CI efforts by improving Jenkins workflows and writing maintainable code.
• Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and lead small feature developments.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous reviews, unit testing, and debugging.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in embedded software or application development.
• Strong C++ skills with solid design and data structure fundamentals.
• Experience with Agile development and version control tools like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
• Valid Australian work rights are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated or safety-critical industries (e.g., medical devices, automotive).
• Knowledge of test-driven development (TDD) practices.
