Senior Data Engineer (Starlink Growth)

What you will do

• Build statistically-based dashboards and analytics tools to uncover trends in customer growth and experience.
• Develop and implement monitoring systems to quickly detect business trends and regressions.
• Design and validate predictive models to forecast customer acquisition.
• Transform data insights into actionable items for business and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with software and production teams to optimize the user experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a STEM discipline.
• 5+ years of professional experience building solutions with Python and SQL.
• 5+ years of professional experience with statistical modeling and machine learning algorithms.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident (green card holder), refugee, or asylee to conform to U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR).
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or machine learning.
• Experience building ML pipelines, including clustering analysis, anomaly detection, and time series models.
• Proficiency in data visualization, specifically with geospatial data representations.
• Background in computational physics or advanced statistics.
