Data Analyst (Power BI)

Location: Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada (Airport area); on-site four days per week with one remote day

Salary: CA$70,000–CA$80,000 base per year plus bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Own reporting and analytics across the business.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and work with large datasets.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, and Marketing stakeholders to understand performance drivers.
• Validate, cleanse, and quality-check data to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Translate analysis into clear, practical insights for business decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting and data processes.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar field.
• Strong experience with Power BI dashboards, SQL, large datasets, and advanced Excel.
• Experience with data validation, cleansing, quality checks, and data transformation.
• Strong understanding of business metrics such as revenue, sales performance, and margins.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and ERP or internal business systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with DAX, Power Query, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, or Azure environments.
• Experience with data pipeline tools such as FiveTran.
• Exposure to Power Automate or other workflow automation tools.
• Experience in distribution, logistics, or product-based businesses.
• Experience with pricing, margin, or sales analytics.
