TL;DR

Data Analyst (Power BI/SQL): Building and maintaining reporting systems and dashboards for Finance, Sales, and Marketing to drive business decision-making with an accent on data accuracy and practical insights. Focus on extracting and structuring large datasets from Snowflake, optimizing Power BI reports, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze performance metrics.

Location: On-site in Toronto (Etobicoke / Airport area), 5 days/week

Salary: CA$65,000 – $80,000 base + benefits

What you will do

  • Own reporting and analytics across Finance, Sales, and Marketing divisions to provide visibility into performance.
  • Build and maintain Power BI dashboards using DAX and Power Query.
  • Extract, structure, and analyze large datasets from Snowflake or similar environments.
  • Ensure data accuracy through rigorous validation, cleansing, and quality checks.
  • Translate complex data into clear, practical insights for non-technical business teams.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Intelligence, or similar roles.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation.
  • Proven experience building dashboards in Power BI and advanced skills in Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Must be based in Toronto and able to work on-site full-time.

Nice to have

  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Azure-based environments, or data pipeline tools like FiveTran.
  • Exposure to Power Automate or workflow automation tools.
  • Background in distribution, logistics, or product-based businesses.
  • Experience in pricing, margin, or sales analytics.
