About the Role

You will own the strategy, posture, and maturity of the information security program end-to-end, from internal systems and cloud infrastructure to engineering practices that ship cryptographic software. You will define security strategy, lead and grow the security team, drive SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance, represent security to customers and auditors, harden internal systems (IAM, endpoint and cloud security, secrets management, CI/CD integrity), build and rehearse incident response playbooks, and monitor and adapt to the evolving threat landscape for blockchain and cryptographic systems.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a CISO or equivalent senior security leader
• Experience safeguarding high-value assets, ideally in blockchain, crypto, or digital asset custody
• Skill in blockchain security, fund protection, monitoring, and incident response
• Deep understanding of threat models for blockchain systems including key management, signing infrastructure, smart contract exploitation, social engineering, and supply chain attacks
• Demonstrable experience taking a security program through SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification cycles
• Strong background in cloud security (AWS/GCP), identity and access management, and secure software development pipelines
• Experience building and leading high-performing security teams
• Exceptional communication skills with executives, engineers, auditors, and customers
• Understanding of or willingness to learn FHE, ZK, and MPC
• Pragmatic builder's mindset and willingness to engage in technical details

Responsibilities

• Define and drive information security strategy
• Lead, mentor, and grow the security team
• Own SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certification roadmaps
• Serve as the executive face of security for customers and auditors
• Harden internal environment including IAM, endpoint and cloud security, secrets management, and CI/CD integrity
• Build and rehearse incident response playbooks
• Monitor threat landscape and adapt security controls
