What you will do

  • Lead the design and implementation of a consortium MEAL strategy aligned with IRC global standards and FCDO requirements.
  • Establish and chair consortium MEAL governance structures and technical working groups to ensure alignment and quality assurance.
  • Oversee a robust consortium-wide monitoring system to ensure consistency, reliability, and comparability of data across all partners.
  • Lead mixed-methods research, including contribution analysis and cost-effectiveness studies, translating evidence into actionable recommendations.
  • Implement consortium-wide accountability systems, ensuring safe and accessible feedback and complaint mechanisms for affected populations.
  • Integrate the FCDO Value for Money (VfM) framework into MEAL systems to inform strategic investment and donor reporting.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Statistics, Monitoring & Evaluation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in MEAL within humanitarian or development programmes.
  • Proven experience leading MEAL systems for large-scale, multi-partner donor-funded programmes (FCDO, USAID, EU/ECHO).
  • Demonstrated expertise in refugee response, livelihoods, and cash-based programming.
  • Proficiency in data collection and visualization tools such as Power BI, KoboToolbox, CommCare, STATA, or SPSS.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
