What you will do

• Develop and maintain embedded software for gateway devices and sensors.
• Design and optimize tools for fulfillment and onboarding to improve efficiency.
• Research, prototype, and productize new sensor solutions based on product requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect end-to-end IoT solutions.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical feedback to peers.
• Solve complex scalability challenges, including global radiofrequency regulations and fleet management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building software for connected devices, preferably industrial IoT products based on embedded Linux.
• Proficiency with interfaces such as serial ports, I2C, and Modbus.
• Experience with data acquisition and various sensor types.
• Knowledge of MQTT, NATS, Debian, Fleet management (OTA), mTLS, and monitoring.
• Understanding of low-level Linux, including boot sequence (u-boot), bash scripting, systemd, and networking.

Nice to have

• MSc in a technical field, specializing in embedded systems or industrial technology.
• Knowledge of wireless protocols (EnOcean, BLE, LoRa, WiFi, LTE).
• Familiarity with electronics design.
• Previous experience in IoT system architecture and design.
