What you will do

• Determine z/OS software upgrade requirements to maintain supported levels from IBM and third-party vendors.
• Coordinate and schedule major software upgrades across various Mainframe Technical support teams.
• Develop and maintain standards for Software Infrastructure and Program Products.
• Monitor CPU, Memory, and DASD trends to ensure service levels are maintained.
• Manage product upgrade projects to ensure mainframe stability and reliability.
• Collaborate with and supervise technology partners, vendors, and managed service providers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with z/OS Mainframe VTAM, SNA, APPN, HPR, and TCP/IP.
• 15+ years of overall related technical experience.
• Experience providing operational support in environments with nearly 8 z/OS LPARs.
• Expertise in implementing and configuring mainframe TCP/IP in a z/OS Parallel Sysplex environment.
• Proficiency in Connect: Direct and NetView Network Management.
• Must be based in the US (Newark, NJ).
