TL;DR

Senior IT PMO (Trading): Managing the operational backbone of a strategic Market Data to Data & Analytics (DnA) platform migration within the trading sector with an accent on cross-workstream coordination, RAID management, and senior governance reporting. Focus on driving complex migration cutovers, reconciling risk and market data products, and ensuring alignment across federated technical teams.

Location: Hybrid – Zurich area / Remote (90-100% remote, flexible)

Salary: 1000-1200 CHF (Daily Rate)

What you will do

• Coordinate planning, status tracking, and cross-workstream alignment for workstream leads.
• Manage end-to-end project meetings, including agendas, minutes, action logs, and decision tracking.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare reports for the Steering Committee and senior governance bodies.
• Track and manage RAID items (Risks, Actions, Issues, Dependencies) and escalate critical points to the PM.
• Facilitate the onboarding of new project members and oversee general project administration.
• Drive critical follow-up activities to keep the multi-year migration programme on track.

Requirements

• 8-15 years of PMO experience in IT delivery environments.
• Proven track record in large-scale data platform, cloud migration, or platform modernization programmes.
• Experience with federated delivery models and Agile-at-scale (SAFe, Scrum-of-Scrums) or hybrid frameworks.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, MS Teams, SharePoint, and Power BI.
• Fluent English (mandatory).
• Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and brief Steering Committees.

Nice to have

• Domain expertise in Investment Banking, Energy/Commodities Trading, or Risk Management.
• Experience with market data platforms or regulatory data programmes (MiFID II, FRTB, EMIR, REMIT).
• Knowledge of ETRM/CTRM systems (e.g., Endur, Allegro, OpenLink).
• Exposure to Data Mesh, Lakehouse, Databricks, Snowflake, or Azure Data Platform.
• German language skills (B2+ / fluent).
• Experience in the Swiss market or residency in Zurich, Aarau, Zug, or Basel.
