TL;DR

Claremont Fiber HR Manager (Manufacturing): Provide full cycle HR support to the Claremont, NC fiber plant with an accent on employee engagement, talent management, and regulatory compliance. Focus on driving high-performance culture, managing recruiting and onboarding, and ensuring alignment with business objectives through HR metrics and change leadership.

Location: Claremont, NC (onsite manufacturing plant)

What you will do

  • Plan, organize, and execute recruiting, placement, hiring, orientation, and onboarding for the plant.
  • Monitor employee engagement, partner with plant leadership to implement retention programs and drive high-performance culture.
  • Manage HR metrics, communications strategy, performance management, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, payroll, leave of absence (FMLA, STD, LTD), and labor cost planning.
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, policies, and best practices while leading change initiatives.
  • Build organizational capabilities and advocate for employees aligned with business results.

Requirements

  • Must be located in or able to work onsite at Claremont, NC plant
  • BS/BA in HR or related field; PHR/SPHR preferred
  • 4+ years HR business partner experience in manufacturing or high-performance environment
  • Proven success in talent management, employee relations, and compliance with US federal/state employment laws
  • Strong analytical, communication, and change leadership skills; ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of HR data management software and administrative processes
