System Administrator (Gamedev)

Location: Hybrid in Vienna, Austria (two mandatory office days per week)

Salary: EUR 44,800 per year (for 3 years of experience)

What you will do

• Provide first-point-of-contact IT support for designers, artists, programmers, and testers.
• Manage and maintain PC workstations, productivity software, and console development kits.
• Ensure stable VPN connectivity and remote desktop access for hybrid employees.
• Purchase, assemble, and maintain hardware to ensure optimal performance on a budget.
• Monitor communication channels and manage help requests via a ticket system.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to commute to Vienna, Austria for mandatory on-site duty.
• Professional experience in Windows-based IT administration and Active Directory.
• Fluency in both English and German.
• Strong empathy and a positive attitude toward helping non-technical users.
• Knowledge of client-server architecture and remote work setup maintenance.

Nice to have

• Experience with corporate IT infrastructure such as firewalls, proxy servers, and authentication providers.
• Proficiency in automation tools and scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, PHP).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
• A passion for video games.
