Celfocus Software Summer Internship (2 months)

TL;DR

Software Summer Internship (Java/Python/Angular): Gain hands-on experience in backend and frontend development, quality assurance, DevOps, and data science concepts with an accent on building real solutions and professional practices. Focus on applying training to projects, shadowing engineers, and developing time management, communication, and collaboration skills.

Location: Hybrid in Cairo, Egypt - office 3 days per week in New Cairo, remote 2 days. Commit to 5 days per week for 2 months.

What you will do

• Attend training sessions on software development, tools, and interpersonal skills.
• Apply learning hands-on to build real solutions step by step on projects.
• Shadow experienced engineers on ongoing projects to learn development processes and workflows.
• Practice real-world work ethics including time management, communication, and collaboration.
• Receive mentorship and constructive feedback for technical and personal growth.

Requirements

• Final-year student or recent graduate with basic programming skills.
• Experience with Java and solid OOP principles.
• Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Exposure to modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and frontend-backend communication.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, SDLC, and STLC knowledge.
• Basic frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Nice to have

• Non-relational databases (MongoDB, Firebase).
• Spring Boot for backend.
• Git version control.
• Automation tools (Selenium, Playwright).
