What you will do

• Assist in implementing safety and security management measures and regularly updating security management plans.
• Develop and implement operating procedures, contingency plans, and evacuation/hibernation protocols.
• Conduct risk assessments of contracted offices, residences, and hotels to ensure safety compliance.
• Build and maintain networks with local authorities, UN, and other NGO security actors to ensure staff safety and access.
• Monitor the operating environment and provide regular reports and daily updates on security incidents and trends.
• Conduct onsite security briefings for staff and track all movements within the area of responsibility.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in civilian or NGO work within international humanitarian assistance programs.
• Proven track record in planning, organizing, and executing security operations in the field.
• Strong negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for representing the organization to external stakeholders.
• Higher education in a relevant subject is preferred, though secondary education with significant experience is considered.
