TL;DR

Senior IT Sales Account Manager (EU Agencies): Driving business expansion across EU Agencies and EC-funded programs with an accent on strategic account development and procurement mechanisms. Focus on originating high-potential programs in digital transformation, cloud adoption, and cybersecurity.

Location: Remote option available, but requires a strong network and ability to work with EU Agencies (client-site opportunities included).

What you will do

  • Develop new business opportunities within EU Agencies (e.g., HaDEA, CINEA, ECDC, ECHA) and EC-funded programs.
  • Execute sales plans aligned with EC funding cycles, such as MFF, Horizon Europe, and the DIGITAL Europe Programme.
  • Build and maintain trusted C-level relationships with agency operational leaders and procurement officers.
  • Lead the full sales lifecycle from early qualification and need analysis to financial structuring and closure.
  • Coordinate with technical experts to craft competitive RFP responses for frameworks like DIGIT-TM and FWC Cloud.
  • Develop strategic account plans with accurate forecasting and structured pipeline growth for assigned agencies.

Requirements

  • Higher education degree in business, management, public administration, or engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a sales leadership role within IT services.
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with EU Agencies or EC-funded bodies, with deep knowledge of procurement and budget cycles.
  • Proven customer network within EU Agencies and/or EC Directorates.
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets in framework-driven environments.
  • Fluency in English; French or Dutch is a strong advantage.
