Project Engineer (Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Manage and coordinate engineering activities across disciplines including Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Civil/Structural.
• Ensure timely delivery of FEED and detailed engineering packages.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, and budgets to ensure alignment with client requirements.
• Review technical deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, specifications, and calculations.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the client and internal engineering teams.
• Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and HAZOP/HAZID workshops.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
• 6–12 years of experience in oil & gas engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience in FEED and Detailed Design projects.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Qatar.
• Strong knowledge of international engineering standards including API, ASME, and ISO.

Nice to have

• PMP certification.
• Experience working on onshore or offshore projects.
• Prior project experience within the GCC or Qatar.
• Proficiency in engineering tools such as AutoCAD, PDMS/E3D, and SmartPlant.
