What you will do

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for Android and iOS mobile applications.
• Maintain and expand the test automation framework built with Node.js and WebdriverIO.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and designers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Debug complex issues involving mobile apps, Bluetooth connectivity, and navigation features.
• Perform regression, exploratory, and acceptance testing for each release cycle.
• Identify testing bottlenecks and contribute to continuous quality process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing of mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of Mobile QA methodologies, tools, and best practices for both Android and iOS.
• Experience with automation languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, or Python.
• Familiarity with WebDriverIO, Appium, or similar automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience testing Bluetooth interactions and navigation functionality.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Japanese.

Nice to have

• Exposure to performance or stress testing of mobile applications.
• Familiarity with gRPC or API testing tools such as Postman.
• Experience with simulators, emulators, and managing real device test labs.
• ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
• Motorbike license in Japan.
