TL;DR

Senior Python Developer (Backend): Designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based services within a scalable platform with an accent on performance, reliability, and scalability. Focus on building microservices, optimizing relational databases, and integrating AI-powered assistants into the SDLC.

Location: Must work from the European Union region and possess a valid work permit.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and maintain Python-based services for a scalable platform.
  • Build and enhance systems with a focus on performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with architects on technical decisions and solution design.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and participate in peer code reviews.
  • Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • Mentor other engineers and improve development practices and tooling.

Requirements

  • Strong experience developing production-grade Python applications.
  • Experience with microservices or multi-tenant platforms.
  • Proficiency in OOP, design patterns, and clean architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with ORM frameworks (SQLAlchemy or Django) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • English: Minimum B2 level required.
  • Location: Must be based in the EU with a valid work permit.

Nice to have

  • Experience in financial services, compliance, or regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of high-reliability and high-security system standards.
  • Experience applying GenAI and agent-based workflows within the SDLC.
