What you will do

• Provide strategic guidance and adaptive leadership for education-related components of the Tautua program.
• Lead research, analysis, and innovation to inform program design and implementation.
• Oversee the development of program plans, budgets, and high-quality reporting aligned with MEL frameworks.
• Facilitate multisectoral collaboration, ensuring GEDSI and safeguarding principles are mainstreamed.
• Manage technical advisers and consultants within an international development context.
• Drive evidence-based solutions through political economy scanning and rigorous analysis.

Requirements

• Proven experience in program implementation across the full project life cycle (design, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation).
• Track record of driving complex reform initiatives and fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Samoan.
• Detailed knowledge of the Government of Samoa and the current human development policy environment.
• Experience managing diverse teams and technical advisers in donor-funded environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
