What you will do

  • Liaise with the factory on direct material issues (substrates, integrated heat spreaders, stiffeners, epoxy) for ATM assembly test processes.
  • Manage and drive quality issues, leading MRBs and driving 8D reports and material disposition.
  • Oversee direct and indirect materials for New Product Introduction (NPI) and ensure qualification.
  • Collaborate with Factory Module Engineers on cost reduction and value engineering activities.
  • Define material inspection methodologies and implement programs to optimize the supply chain and production yield.
  • Lead supplier selection, establish KPIs, and drive improvements in supplier quality, reliability, and cost.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters in Materials Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience working with assembly test operations.
  • Must be based on-site in Kulim, Malaysia to meet demanding factory expectations.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of substrates, integrated heat spreaders (IHS), stiffeners, and epoxy processes.
  • Experience managing materials for High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) and quality excursions.
  • Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, and analytical tools.
