What you will do

• Design digital and social assets, campaign collateral, event materials, and web graphics using Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Produce short-form video content for social and web platforms, blending real-world editing with generative AI and b-roll.
• Utilize AI tools like Adobe Firefly to generate imagery, motion graphics, and short-form video as a core part of the production workflow.
• Collaborate with senior creatives and the Video Producer to execute brand projects and maintain visual standards.
• Maintain and organize the digital asset library (DAM) and perform basic CMS updates and social scheduling.
• Research emerging AI creative tools and document best practices for the broader team.

Requirements

• Formal education (degree or diploma) in design, media production, or visual communication.
• Must be based in Waterloo, Ontario
• Demonstrated fluency with generative AI creative tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly) shown in a portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere.
• Ability to produce hybrid video content combining traditional post-production and AI-generated assets.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Experience using Figma for design handoff and collaboration.
• Familiarity with DAM systems, CMS platforms, or social scheduling tools.
• Experience with prompt engineering for production-quality AI output.
• Background in motion design, animation, or kinetic typography.
