Software Engineer (Intermediate) (Java)

What you will do

• Deliver software features and improvements across backend microservices from design to deployment.
• Document software construction, testing, security posture, and overall system architecture.
• Train and onboard new team members to ensure productivity.
• Conduct code reviews and provide meaningful feedback to engineers of all levels.
• Identify and resolve the root causes of operational issues to ensure long-term stability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business and customer value.

Requirements

• Solid experience with Java and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
• Proven track record with microservices architecture and API development.
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Proficiency across the full SDLC: design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ability to deliver working features end-to-end from specification to production.
• Experience with Docker and containerized deployment workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS managed services (RDS, S3, SES, ECS).
• Familiarity with observability tooling like Datadog and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines, specifically with GitHub Actions.
• Exposure to multi-tenant application architecture.
