What you will do

• Lead editorial coverage across tech, energy, and general business beats to set the agenda for a global audience.
• Manage and mentor a team of reporters, providing editorial guidance and career development support.
• Edit stories for accuracy, clarity, and impact under tight deadlines following CNBC style.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with TV, video, and social media teams to maximize journalism reach.
• Use data analytics to inform editorial decisions and optimize story performance across platforms.
• Curate content for the homepage, mobile app, and social platforms including X, Instagram, and TikTok.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of financial markets, economics, technology, and politics.
• Strong understanding of US and APAC companies and major technology trends.
• Proven capability to perform substantive edits and write compelling headlines under pressure.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Singapore.
• Experience with social media platforms, specifically X.
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts or weekends as required.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of experience in a related editorial role.
• 2+ years of operational or people management experience.
• Background working for a leading business news organization.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS).
