What you will do

• Develop and produce live and taped guest segments.
• Generate original content ideas daily from various sources.
• Field produce remote segments both live and pre-recorded.
• Identify, book, pre-interview guests, and arrange hits.
• Write compelling copy, teases, and secure supporting elements like sound bites and video.
• Create, visualize, and produce segments, bringing new ideas for shows and franchises.
• Develop relationships with news sources and assist line producers.

Requirements

• Exemplary editorial judgment and superior contacts.
• Self-starter able to work effectively under daily deadline pressure.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong visual storytelling abilities.
• Accommodate demanding schedule including weekends, holidays, and short-notice travel.

Nice to have

• 3+ years booking and segment producing in live TV with writing, research, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with CNBC News standards.
• Strong understanding of markets and experience at financial news network.
