What you will do

• Perform manual testing of translated in-game text, UI, subtitles, prompts, and system messages in Japanese
• Verify text readability, spacing, clipping, overlap, truncation, font rendering, placeholder handling, and localization quality
• Identify, record, and track bugs like wrong-context text, mixed-language issues, display issues, and linguistic inconsistencies
• Document test execution and results systematically
• Coordinate with QA, production, and development teams for issue clarification and fix validation
• Verify appropriate Japanese terminology, register, and player-facing wording for the target market

Requirements

• Able to work on-site at hirify.global HQ in Summarecon Bandung
• Good English reading and writing skills (speaking is a plus)
• Read and understand Japanese at JLPT N3 level or higher (certification proof required in CV/portfolio)
• Strong sensitivity to Japanese UI wording, subtitle readability, and context-driven dialogue
• Proficient in documentation and accurate reporting
• Strong passion for gaming, excellent attention to detail, familiarity with game platforms/genres, strong communication skills
