What you will do

• Shape and own the architecture of AI-driven capabilities within the hirify.global platform.
• Prototype, implement, and refactor AI systems, remaining hands-on to unblock the team.
• Drive technical direction and decision-making for the AI team.
• Design flexible, resilient, and evolvable distributed systems and APIs built for uncertainty.
• Translate AI possibilities into pragmatic, shippable product solutions.
• Mentor senior engineers to raise the overall technical bar.

Requirements

• Backend-heavy full-stack engineering experience with Python, PyTorch, Qdrant, and Langfuse.
• Proven experience designing scalable, observable, production-grade distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of AI-first workflows, probabilistic systems, and model failure modes.
• Ability to reason about frontend architecture.
• Strong ownership mentality and outcome-focused execution.
• Must be based in or be able to work in a hybrid model in Prague, Czech Republic.
