TL;DR

Lead Mobile Software Engineer (Flutter/Native): Building and maintaining the core infrastructure of the hirify.global mobile application with an accent on app performance, infrastructure scalability, and the removal of legacy dependencies. Focus on optimizing mobile tools and components to enable engineers to quickly and safely test, deploy, and monitor app features at a massive scale.

Location: Hybrid (2-3 times/week) in Belo Horizonte, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, or Sao Paulo, Brazil

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain scalable, high-performing app infrastructure components and mobile tools.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure infrastructure scalability to support millions of users.
  • Drive the removal of legacy dependencies within the app core.
  • Enable product teams to deliver high-quality mobile experiences through better tooling and observability.
  • Influence the architecture and foundational technologies relied upon by all mobile engineers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in senior-level technical mobile development.
  • Strong technical background in Flutter and/or native mobile development (Android/iOS).
  • Deep understanding of mobile software engineering principles, architectural patterns, and modularization strategies.
  • Experience with performance optimization and the migration of core systems.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Must be based in or be able to relocate to Belo Horizonte, Campinas, Rio de Janeiro, or Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Nice to have

  • Experience with backend technologies integrated with mobile apps.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems and large-scale app architecture.
  • Contributions to internal SDKs, libraries, or mobile design systems.
  • Knowledge of user authentication and session management.
