What you will do

• Create and update conda recipes for building, testing, and releasing conda packages.
• Manage source code, handle dependencies, and create patches for C/C++ native applications.
• Identify and automate repetitive manual tasks to improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate directly with client-side software engineers and open-source package maintainers.
• Elicit requirements, estimate scope, and plan sprints as a key member of the client's team.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a Software or DevOps Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ for source code management and patching.
• Experience releasing native applications on Windows and administering Linux and Windows OS.
• Expertise with build tools (CMake, Autotools, nmake, gcc) and version control systems like Git.
• English: Intermediate level required for daily communication.
• Location: Must be based in Poland.

Nice to have

• Experience contributing to open-source repositories.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
• Experience packaging software using Homebrew, RPM, or Conda.
• Proficiency in Python and knowledge of the R programming language.
