DevOps Engineer (AWS China)

What you will do

• Deploy and maintain the service fleet specifically within AWS China regions.
• Adapt existing CDK infrastructure to meet China-specific requirements and data residency laws.
• Manage ICP licensing and ensure strict adherence to local regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with US-based engineering teams to coordinate infrastructure changes.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and incident response using Datadog and CloudWatch.
• Optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of China-specific workloads.

Requirements

• Must be based in mainland China.
• Strong expertise with AWS CDK (TypeScript) and experience with multi-partition deployments.
• Hands-on experience operating workloads in AWS China regions (cn-north-1, cn-northwest-1).
• Proficiency in C#/.NET (primary), TypeScript/Node.js, and Python.
• Experience with Docker and ECS container orchestration.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin for cross-team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience with LaunchDarkly for feature flag management.
• Knowledge of ML/AI infrastructure, such as TensorFlow serving.
• Experience managing IoT device telemetry at scale.
