Cloud Engineer (AWS) (1 Year Contract)

TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Bahrain - must already be based in Bahrain

What you will do

• Manage and support AWS infrastructure in a live production environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across AWS services quickly
• Keep cloud resources updated and aligned with best practices
• Support cloud disaster recovery planning and readiness
• Work with EC2, RDS, Redshift, VPC, and related services
• Monitor performance, spot risks early, and ensure stability and security
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and end customer on-site

Requirements

• Strong AWS experience, ideally 5+ years
• Hands-on with EC2, RDS, Redshift, VPC
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and implementation
• Experience with cloud disaster recovery
• Strong troubleshooting skills in AWS
• Good Linux knowledge
• Must hold AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
• Must already be based in Bahrain and available to start immediately
• Strong communication and ability to work independently on-site

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments
• Experience working directly with end customers
• Familiarity with monitoring and optimisation in AWS
