TL;DR

Regulatory Counsel (AI): Leading legal work on global online content and frontier AI regulation with an accent on EU AI Act, DSA, and UK Online Safety Act. Location: Hybrid in Dublin, Ireland (minimum 3 days a week in office)

Salary: €280,000 – €350,000

What you will do

• Lead global in-house regulatory work for online content regulation, including the DSA and UK Online Safety Act.
• Manage non-contentious engagement with European regulators, such as the European AI Office and the European Commission.
• Provide upfront regulatory-readiness counselling on emerging international legislation.
• Translate complex legal requirements into practical guidance for legal, compliance, and business teams.
• Partner with Frontier AI Regulatory Counsel and Policy Legal teams to align compliance positions with regulator expectations.
• Design and operationalize governance, risk-management, and reporting frameworks.

Requirements

• Qualification to practise law in the UK or at least one EU member state.
• Substantive expertise in international content regulation (DSA, UK OSA, or similar).
• Experience advising technology businesses on emerging regulatory regimes.
• Direct experience engaging with regulatory or supervisory bodies in a non-contentious capacity.
• Deep understanding of EU law-making and supervisory practices.
• Must be able to work from the Dublin office at least 3 days a week.

Nice to have

• 10–12 years of regulatory legal experience in frontier AI or large online platforms.
• Experience contributing to industry codes of practice or trade association engagement.
• Familiarity with privacy, copyright, and consumer protection laws.
• Proven track record of building long-term relationships with regulators.
