What you will do
- Investigate various methods to reconstruct estimated ADC samples to handle higher degrees of saturation.
- Assess the strengths and weaknesses of different reconstruction algorithms.
- Implement and test these methods on processing hardware such as FPGA, GPU, or DSP.
- Analyze different signal environments to optimize reconstruction accuracy.
- Determine the optimal amplifier gain for specific signal environments.
Requirements
- Current student of Engineering Physics, Math, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
- Eligibility to start the thesis project during Autumn 2026.
- Completed academic courses in signal processing.
- Must pass a security vetting based on current regulations.
- Additional obligations on citizenship may apply for security clearance.
