What you will do

  • Serve as a core member of the Multi-Country Management Group and support Crisis Management Teams for Niger and Burkina Faso.
  • Lead quality control of HAS deliverables, including security risk assessments, contingency plans, and evacuation plans.
  • Develop and strengthen principled access strategies and lead access negotiations in highly restricted locations.
  • Standardize incident management practices, analyze trends, and adapt mitigation measures.
  • Provide technical input on operational modalities and programme criticality in hard-to-reach areas.
  • Support partner duty-of-care and risk management frameworks.

Requirements

  • Internal Applicants Only.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior managerial role within a humanitarian or recovery context.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Working proficiency in both English and French (written and verbal).
  • Proven experience in complex contexts and access negotiations with NGOs or UN agencies.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience within the Sahel region or area of operations.
  • Specialized qualifications in humanitarian access negotiations.
  • Experience in remote management and risk management with implementing partners.
  • Prior experience as a trainer.
