hirify.global is a Barcelona-based startup in the New Space sector building a nanosatellite constellation for global IoT connectivity under the 5G protocol.

What you will do

• Design and execute scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Lead technical execution for AI-powered tools, internal dashboards, and hardware integrations.
• Maintain engineering quality through rigorous code reviews, SonarQube, and CI/CD optimization.
• Mentor senior engineers through pair programming and technical design discussions.
• Prototype rapidly across various stacks including Python, PHP, JS/TS, and Bash.
• Collaborate with the Software Engineering Manager and cross-functional teams to translate business goals into technical roadmaps.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Technical Lead or Engineering Lead role.
• Mastery of Python (Flask/FastAPI) and PHP (Laravel).
• Demonstrable experience integrating AI/LLM models via APIs.
• Strong expertise in GNU/Linux, networking fundamentals, and AWS services.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and PostgreSQL.
• Intermediate English required; fluency in Spanish and/or Catalan is highly valued.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of C/C++ for embedded systems.
• Experience with Raspberry Pi or Arduino.
• Background in space or telecommunications (NB-IoT, 5G).
• Experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
