What you will do

• Film and edit high-quality news packages for digital and broadcast platforms across SE Asia.
• Identify under-reported stories and develop compelling pitches based on hirify.global editorial policy.
• Experiment with new digital video formats to engage young and underserved audiences.
• Collaborate with correspondents, producers, and Language Service colleagues in the region.
• Manage broadcast equipment and maintain the regional library database.
• Travel within the region to cover unpredictable and breaking news stories.

Requirements

• Proven experience in self-shooting and editing complete news packages to a high professional level.
• Deep editorial understanding of South East Asia, including political, economic, and social contexts.
• Ability to translate regional themes into impactful journalism for an international audience.
• Right to work in Thailand is mandatory.
• Valid driving license and acceptable driving history.
