Location: Austin, TX. Hybrid required (2–3 days in office)

What you will do
- Own product backlog: write tickets, define acceptance criteria, groom, prioritize, and keep sprint-ready.
- Break down PM initiatives into scoped stories, coordinate with engineering, unblock dependencies.
- Manage prioritization, balance features, bugs, technical debt; respond to shifts proactively.
- Lead bug triage, implement intake processes, track resolutions, identify patterns.
- Handle support intake, group requests into themes, surface insights to PM.
- Coordinate UAT, track release readiness, support GTM and customer discovery.
Requirements
- 3–5 years as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar in SaaS
- Proven ticket writing and backlog management across workstreams
- Agile/Scrum experience; tools like Jira, Linear, Azure DevOps
- Strong communication to translate business to technical needs
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative with ownership

- Experience with local government or civic tech
- PM/PO split model exposure
