Principal Business Systems Analyst (Oracle Finance)

What you will do

• Serve as the primary SME for Oracle Finance systems, advising on accounting, tax, revenue, and compliance needs.
• Lead functional workstreams and design solution architecture for Oracle Financials modules (AP, AR, GL, CM, FA, SLA, E-Business Tax).
• Perform business process analysis, requirements elicitation, and gap analysis for finance initiatives.
• Plan and execute functional testing, including unit, SIT, and UAT, to validate enhanced processes.
• Create comprehensive documentation, including functional designs, process workflows, and test scripts.
• Support post-merger integrations and partner with CRM, DWH, and banking teams to ensure integrated data flows.

Requirements

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
• Comprehensive expertise with Oracle Fusion Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite R12, specifically Financials and O2C Applications.
• Full life-cycle implementation experience within a global company.
• Profound knowledge of IFRS/IAS, US GAAP, SOX, and international tax laws (US Sales & Use Tax, EU/UK VAT, GST).
• Proven ability to operate independently, lead functional workstreams, and influence solution design.

Nice to have

• Expertise in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM).
• Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Applications.
• Experience establishing Finance systems standards and best practices.
