What you will do

• Handle M&A legal diligence, deal structuring, regulatory approvals, and post-close integration with playbooks for sub-30-day closures
• Manage multi-jurisdictional entity structures and corporate governance across LATAM for seamless financial integration
• Develop public sector compliance programs and support government contracts in active and target LATAM markets
• Oversee commercial contract management, templates, and automation targeting under 1.5-day SLAs
• Build AI legal frameworks for IP ownership, liability, data privacy, and emerging regulations
• Ensure employment law compliance, data sovereignty, dispute resolution, and board governance support
• Lead a legal team as strategic business partners impacting deal velocity and growth

Requirements

• 15+ years in legal practice, including 5+ years as General Counsel or Deputy GC in tech services with cross-border LATAM operations
• Track record of M&A execution across 5+ cross-border LATAM deals
• Direct experience with LATAM government contracting and compliance
• Licensed attorney and notary in El Salvador; fluent in English and Spanish
• Expertise in multi-jurisdictional corporate law, public sector procurement, AI/IP/data privacy, commercial contracting, and LATAM employment law
• Strategic mindset as legal enabler, builder of reusable frameworks, and proactive on regulatory trends
