What you will do

• Develop and refine mathematical models for complex physical systems applicable to real-world experiments in personalized medicine.
• Collaborate with experimental teams to translate predictions into hypotheses and guide data collection and analysis.
• Apply simulations, numerical modeling, statistical physics, quantum mechanics, and applied mathematics to study phenomena and extract insights.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data to align theoretical models with practical outcomes.
• Stay current with advancements in physics, modeling, and spectroscopy for clinical applications.
• Communicate findings across disciplines and contribute to publications, patents, and conferences.

Requirements

• PhD or MSc in Physics, Applied Mathematics, Theoretical Physics, Physical Chemistry, or related field; +3 years experience in modeling and simulations with experimental applications.
• Strong expertise in theoretical and computational physics or applied mathematics applied to interdisciplinary experiments.
• Proven experience at the theory-experiment interface, collaborating with experimentalists, scientists, and engineers.
• Proficiency in numerical modeling, simulations, and data analysis using Python, Julia, or similar.
• Ability to develop physical models, differential equations, and computational frameworks for complex problems.
• Track record of scientific publications; excellent communication skills for explaining concepts to non-specialists.

Nice to have

• Experience with data-driven approaches, signal processing, or machine learning in scientific applications.
• Experience supervising junior researchers.
