What you will do

• Develop software applications for automated data collection in collaboration with hardware and data science teams.
• Design, implement, and maintain robust hardware-software interfaces for seamless device communication.
• Create and manage cloud data infrastructure, databases, and ensure efficient server operations.
• Improve company data and software security protocols to meet industry standards.
• Build GDPR-compliant databases in partnership with hospitals and clinical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance with IEC 62304 and IEC 82304-1 standards.

Requirements

• MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunication, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of software development experience, ideally in industrial or hardware-adjacent environments.
• Hands-on experience developing software that controls or interfaces with physical hardware systems.
• Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of at least two other languages (e.g., Rust, Go, C#, Svelte).
• Experience with full-stack development: REST API, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Svelte or React.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Docker, and Git (branching, code review, CICD).
• English: Fluent written and verbal communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Experience interfacing with autosamplers, fluidic handling elements, lasers, CMOS cameras, or ESP32.
• Familiarity with medical device software standards (IEC 62304, IEC 82304-1).
• Experience implementing GDPR compliance in healthcare databases.
